NetSuite integration - Overview
NetSuite integration
Basics of NetSuite integration
What is NetSuite? NetSuite is a business software specifically designed for organizations and individuals who require an easy-to-use, yet powerful, platform to manage their enterprise networks. It is a SaaS software that functions on a cloud service basis. NetSuite helps its clients achieve greater profitability, efficiency, collaboration and continuity by connecting people to the business intelligence they need. Every company of any size can implement NetSuite in order to better organize business operations.
What is integration? Integration is the process of connecting two or more applications in order to achieve a common goal. It is the act of bringing separate applications together that enables them to work together effectively. NetSuite is very good at integrating with other applications and software providers with a wide range of formats that it supports including CSV, XML, BAPI, SOAP, REST and JDBC.
NetSuite integration helps connect with third-party apps. There are two methods of NetSuite integration: One is through data import and export, and the other is through the service layer. The data can be imported in both small and big batches (up to 5000 rows at once), with options of selecting specific records or having them all. The service layer integration enables a user to build a custom interface from a web page on the client site into NetSuite, such as by integrating with Google Maps or Facebook Connect.
Scope of Netsuite integration
Netsuite integrates with common business applications such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, Workday, Concur and ServiceNow. It has a variety of capabilities to manage the whole integration process. These include configuring connectors and different data sources or data storage dimension configuration.
Netsuite Integration with other APIs
NetSuite has over 50+ integrations with other APIs such as Google Apps, Zendesk, Zendesk Service Desk and Microsoft Outlook etc.
